Workshop: Weaved Basket
Join me in my home studio where we will explore the intersection of textiles and glass in this fun hands-on workshop inspired by woven form and flowing movement. Participants will create a 6" sculptural glass vessel using colorful strips of fusible glass layered in an intricate woven pattern. Through the interplay of line, transparency, and heat, the finished piece transforms into a dynamic bowl-like form with rich texture and luminous color.
This workshop is suitable both for beginners , as well as experienced makers looking to expand their kiln-formed glass practice. All materials and firing included. Participants will be able to pick up their finished sculptural glass piece that captures both the delicacy of woven fiber and the brilliance of glass in approx. five days after the workshop.
Dates and Time
Saturday, August 29, 2026 @ 2 pm
This workshop is approx two hours and you will be guided through the entire process in creating a 6" weaved glass basket. All materials and supplies are included. Maximum of 6 spots are available for each session. If you plan on coming with friends purchase all spots to ensure you are in the same session together. Once you create your piece of art, I will fire it in my kiln and then drape it. You will be able to pick up your completed pieces a few days after the workshop.

Cancelation policy
Cancellations must made fourteen days in advance to be refunded -- this allows me time to try to fill the slots with someone else. Any cancellation within 14 days is refunded at 50% -- thank you for understanding. If I must cancel for a personal reason, weather, illness, etc., I will work with you to rebook the session or offer a refund.
